The
Diamond Exhibit -
Africa U.S.A. was home to the world's
largest synthetic diamond at 34 carats.
Lawrence Levy managed the Diamond Exibit
at Africa U.S.A. that featured man-made
diamonds manufactured from rutile and
silica. They were called "Titania"
Diamonds and were made by the National
Lead Corporation and developed by General
Electric. These synthetic gems were
actually 11% more brilliant than a real
diamond.
